The polls opened at 7am this morning. I voted at 7:02 and I am so so happy no more presidential politics for me for at least 3 more years. (they run for a year ahead of time)
This federal election process left a lot to be desired. Two tedious years of people repeating the same thing and a billion dollars or so spent. It was a process of "sound and fury, signifying nothing." Surely the candidates could have lifted the level of debate beyond that of a high school debating team.
